What do I desire?

"My goal is not to wake up at 40 with the bitter realisation that I’ve wasted my life in a job I hate, because I was forced to decide on a career in my teens"

I think we have to be aware that people are allowed to be different

Went to the woods the other day with my friend to get some final shoots for my photography project. I'm not sure if I over-edited them but here are a couple of the final images. I was inspired by Tim Walker's 'Like A Doll' editorial for Vogue Italia.

On Monday I went with my friend to Brighton to help her with her 60's inspired photoshoot. We met the model and make-up artist at 10 and finished the shoot at 3. The photos came out really well, you can find more of them on her flickr, http://www.flickr.com/photos/hmarco/ .

Snow

Self portraiture outside my house just after the snow stop falling. I love the contrast between the red sky and the fresh white snow on the ground.

David Bailey

After watching 'We'll take Manhattan' I have fallen in love with David Bailey's work for Vogue UK in 1962 with model Jean Shrimpton. I find his rebellious attitudes towards conforming with those of authority in the business inspiring.  "A positive attitude can really make dreams come true - it did for me"
